 Coaching Dreams Into Success (CDIS) Program

Coaching Dreams Into Success is a family-focused community-based program for Hillsborough County families with children age 6 - middle school.
Program Features:
Fun Facilitated Workshops with topics such as:

  • Developing Effective Communication and Feedback

  • Developing Positive Response moving through Conflict

  • Developing Positive Responsibilities Dealing with Harmful Vices

Various Family Engagement Activities

  • Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts & Math Exercises (STEAM)

  • Tean Building Exercises

  • Life Skills Exercises

Dedicated Resource Advocate for each participating family

  • Families work with a dedicated Coach

  • Assistance navigating for community resources and opportunities

It is often noted that early intervention is likely to show more benefit than later intervention, and there is substantial evidence that appropriate family-focused prevention can reduce child aggression, school dropout and drug and other substance abuse in adolescence.

  1. You are the parent or caregiver of a child age 6 – middle school;

  2. You reside in Hillsborough County; and

  3. You are interested in your child(ren) becoming engaged in a program that empowers them and the entire family.

Our Coaching Dreams Into Success program is designed to help :

The Resource Empowerment Center (REC), Inc is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that focuses
on empowerment of our communities by connecting people with resources, providing one-on-
one support, fostering advocacy and education to help transform lives of those in need.

 

What sets us apart and allows our families to achieve success is:

  • High touch services delivered by our Resource Advocate Volunteers and Youth Advocate Volunteers,

  • Holistic approach to client services, and

  • Collaboration with community partners providing the most impactful wraparound services.
